Acoustic Surfaces

Jukola’s geometric wood surfaces are naturally acoustic.

In addition, Jukola can cut the pattern into wooden frames which are mounted on the sound-insulating sheet material. This layer structure is highly effective in acoustic and is resistant to use. The layered acoustic surface can be used as a silencer, for example in gyms or in concrete surfaces.

Acoustic surfaces can be designed to facilitate their construction. The project can often be implemented in many ways and with different damping effects.

The Jukola Acoustic structure is often about 100mm thick.

It is advisable to measure and define acoustic surfaces precisely, then we can design a structure that fits your project.

Roof Surfaces

Jukolaind wood panels can be used on roof surfaces. They give a natural look and a quiet feeling. Jukolaind recommends installing wooden roof panels on the metal sheet surface. In this case, the structure is waterproof and long-lasting. the installation should be done so that there is about 50 mm of ventilation space between the surfaces. The wood panels should be supported and fastened with approximately 600mm screws. You can choose a wooden surface with standard texturing or we can develop your own surface design.

Jukola’s wooden roof can be painted or allowed to patinate naturally.

Surface Elements

If necessary, Jukolaind manufactures geometric wood surfaces as elements.

Good examples to choose from Jukola elements:

1. Elements accelerate surface mounting in construction.
2. Reduce work on site.
3. Ensure the success of the designs.

Jukola’s elements have either a wood or metal frame to which the patterned panels are attached. The size and shape of the structure will be designed as needed and the pieces can be numbered if necessary. Elements can be assembled as a numbered puzzle.

Frame thickness varies as needed, and its partition can also be modified. Usually, it is advisable to order surface elements with a weight of less than 70 kg, and less than 3m in length for convenient handling.

However, we can also produce machine-liftable surface elements.

We recommend straight-edge elements and a small mounting clearance between the elements.

When designing the elements, the installation site measurements should be carried out with care. In dimensioning it is also good to take into account the natural changes in wood material.
